The Metropolitan Transportation Board (MTB) is comprised of elected officials from local jurisdictions. The board convenes monthly to set transportation policy for the urban area. The Transportation Coordinating Committee (TCC) is an advisory committee to the MTB which also convenes monthly, providing the board with technical advice. The TCC is made up of staff-level representatives from member agencies and the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT).
